Our story

At Wilson Sporting Goods Ltd, we believe that everyone has an inner athlete. Our mission is to encourage everyone to experience, enjoy and connect with their inner athlete. Our inner athletes are all unique and arrive in many different shapes, sizes, abilities and skills. Our inner athletes may emerge on courts or fields. They show up at different sports or events, and they may play alone or with friends but the one thing that remains consistent is enjoying sport and being active. During the grass court season, Wilson Sporting Goods along with our partnered coaches, clubs and retailers will be hosting a series of events to encourage people to embrace their inner athlete whilst raising funds for Cancer Research. We have seen first-hand the effects of cancer has not just on the person fighting the battle, but on their friends and family and on those they leave behind. Earlier this year, we lost a friend and colleague to cancer. He was only 41 when he passed. Cancer will affect 1 in every 2 people in their lifetime, and we would like to contribute to the fight against this terrible illness. Clubs around the UK will host some fun activities for adults, families and children alike where you can come and embrace your inner athlete. (There will also be bake sales, raffles and over events for when your inner athlete needs a brief time out.) These events will be an enjoyable day out for everyone (each venue will have a slightly different event on with padel or pickleball as well). In return we ask for a donation support to cancer research.
