Raising vital funds for testicular cancer research in memory of Michael Hall.

Our story

The Michael Hall Foundation on behalf of Cancer Research UK has a goal of raising awareness and much needed funds for testicular cancer research. Community events will be held to raise funds and have fun, just the way Michael would have wanted it. There are 2,400 new cases of testicular cancer in the UK every year, with approximately one male dying every week. When diagnosed at its earliest stage, all men with testicular cancer will survive their disease for 5 years or more, compared with around 8 in 10 men when diagnosed at the latest stage. Michael was in the 10% of people who do not show signs of cancer. Michael presented with symptoms of a bad back, he visited the GP, but due to his age, it wasn’t thought to be anything sinister. Sadly, the cancer went undetected and we lost him at 27 years old, the peak of his life. Is there something on your bucket list like abseiling or the 3 peaks challenge? Join our team and let’s beat cancer together. www.cancerresearchuk.org/about-cancer/testicular-cancer
