The Clinical Trials MOVEATHON is BACK for 2021. Bigger, better and stronger! Are you ready to get back in the saddle or dust off those trainers and join the staff across the UK’s Clinical Trial Units in a VIRTUAL MOVEATHON, launching on MAY 20th – International Clinical Trials Day. The target this year is to cycle, run, walk or swim a kilometre dedicated to each patient who has selflessly contributed to clinical trials. Teams this year will be joining together virtually to raise funds for life-saving research and raise awareness of clinical trials and the vital role they play in developing cancer treatments. Whether you do the distance out on a bike ride, at home on a spin bike or walk several laps of your local park – anyone can join, so grab your bottle of water, choose your activity and for every kilometre you cycle, run, walk or swim you are making a difference.
