Our story

In Loving memory of Steve Downes, husband, dad and best friend who sadly passed away from oesophageal cancer after a strong and courageous 16 month battle on the 20th November 2021. Steve was the most caring, funny and sporty person we’ve ever known, he brought light to any room he entered. He was a huge lover of golf and football, but any sport was of huge interest to him. We are raising money via a series of events to commemorate his life and to draw attention to this terrible disease.
