St Mich's on Hikes 50k Challenge

Our story

As many of you know over the past few years Paul and I have lost family and friends to cancer. So, we decided to turn these losses into a positive and create an event to raise much needed funds for Cancer Research. On August 31st along with a group of friends from St Michael's Runners we will attempt to walk 50k, the walk will take us from Great Hollands through Crowthorne to Horseshoe Lake and round to Bramshill Forest. The return leg will take us back through Finchampstead to Bracknell. We are aiming to complete the walk (with a pub lunch stop) in 10 hours. This will be a huge challenge to all those embarking on the walk, and we will be following a rigorous training plan. Cancer effect so many of us and we really want to help Cancer Research make as much as possible, please give what you can as every £1 helps with their vital research.
