Our story
On Sunday 29th September 2019, Squirrel Wood Equestrian Centre will be hosting Norfolk’s first ever Ride for Research. Ride for Research is an opportunity for horse riders across Norfolk to jump into the saddle and take part in a sponsored horse ride to raise money for Cancer Research UK in East Anglia. Cancer Research UK is the world’s leading charity dedicated to beating cancer through pioneering research. Every day nearly 990 people are diagnosed with cancer in the UK. We will not stop our vital work until everyone is told they are going to be okay. By taking part in our Ride for Research, and raising as much money as you can, you’ll bring us a step closer to the day when all cancers are cured. Situated on the stunning grounds of the Worsted Estate, Squirrel Wood Equestrian Centre is the perfect place to take part in a sponsored hack to raise life-saving funds to beat cancer sooner.
