Supporting Cancer Research UK to Beat Cancer Sooner

Our story

SoCode was founded by industry experts with a genuine passion for technology and recruitment. With headquarters situated at the prestigious Cambridge Science Park and presence at the Norwich Research Park, our partnership with Cancer Research UK enables us to champion groundbreaking research, significantly impacting the ongoing battle against cancer. This alignment strengthens our commitment to social responsibility, contributing to a cause that resonates profoundly with us and touches countless lives worldwide. The Challenges: At SoCode, we’re rallying together to raise funds and awareness for cancer research. All of us here at SoCode aim to get stuck in to raising money in one way or another. From some of our team climbing Mount Snowdon, to our first charity golf day in the mix for next year; here at SoCode we are taking a stand against Cancer and are ready to test our limits through endurance and teamwork. Some of our employees are aiming to take on personal challenges to make this happen, that pushes them to their limits. One of our employees is facing their fear of heights head on and quite literally taking the leap by doing a skydive! Another is aiming to complete one of next year’s marathons, racing to make a difference. We will also be taking on a gruelling 72-hole golf challenge in the coming weeks, as well as bake sales in the offices, a 5 a side football tournament, and of course the June 30th Cambridge Race for Life 5k and 10k! We will be cheering them on and following their journeys with unwavering support and dedication every step of the way. We are aiming for the coming months to be filled with significant fundraising, to help us reach our goal of £10,000 by June 2025.
