Our story
SFA Saniflo UK is a subsidiary of the SFA Group, a French company best known for inventing the macerator pump system. Over the years, employees at SFA Saniflo UK have participated in a range of fundraising events and physical challenges, including several bike rides and a climb of Ben Nevis, all in support of our chosen charity, Cancer Research UK. 2024 A team of three SFA Saniflo UK team members, as well as retired Managing Director Tim Pestell joined two colleagues from the Netherlands, cycling to our SFA Group’s global headquarters in Paris. A total of £9,611.25 was raised for Cancer Research UK. 2023 A team of seven SFA Saniflo UK team members cycled from the company’s UK headquarters in Watford, to the SFA Group’s global headquarters near the Eiffel Tower in Paris. The team achieved their goal of raising £10,000 for Cancer Research UK. 2018 In one of the company’s first cycling fundraisers, the team raised £6,000 for Cancer Research UK. In 2025, we are once again proud to be organising a fundraiser. This time we’re raising funds specifically for Breast Cancer Research - a cause which is personal to our team. Last year we were heartbroken to find out that one of our colleagues had been diagnosed with Breast Cancer. Fortunately, she was able to make a full recovery and has since eagerly made a full return to SFA Saniflo. Despite the previous fundraisers the team has participated in, the shocking news reinforced our commitment to spreading awareness about the impact cancer has, as well as the vital importance of raising donations to fund live-saving research and support. This year we aim to once again fundraise with a series of initiatives throughout the month of October, at our head office. Events include an ‘Acts of Kindness’ charity raffle, fundraising games, a Bake sale, a ‘Pink Pumpkin’ competition and ‘Guess the Sweets in the Jar’.
