Requiem to Cancer 2025

This fourth event travels to Cardiff for its 24-hour come-and-sing marathon of Requiem masses written throughout the ages.

Our story

Back in 2015, Simon Wood decided to raise funds for Cancer Research UK by organising an event that focused on his passion for singing choral music. Instead of doing a simple come-and-sing event he went big. Very big. The first event in 2016 was a marathon of learning and performing Requiem masses over a 24-hour period with singers from all over the country in a central London venue. It was so successful, we did it again in 2018 and raised even more. Sadly, we lost Simon in 2019 but a few of us had committed to him to run a third event and try to reach the £100,000 target mark. We did so, in 2022. Now we’re trying to raise even more and expanding the event outside of London. So, here we are. This page enables you to create your own fundraising page through which your friends and family can donate, with the amount raised being included within the overall Requiem to Cancer total.
