Our story
About this event: The First Lap Twilight Walk is open to everyone! Join us at the NSC on Saturday 9th January for a steady walk, 5k optional, or just complete a Relay First Lap with us! We will have a mini Candle of Hope ceremony as the afternoon turns to twilight to remember those who are fighting cancer or who are no longer with us. On the day: Registration opens at 2.30pm from the car park immediately in front of the NSC Outdoor reception and the walk will start at 3pm. Each participant is invited to place a decorated Candle Bag in memory of someone they love who has been affected by cancer at the dedication area. Get involved: This walk is organised by the Relay For Life Isle of Man Committee. To find out more about Relay ask one of our volunteers on the day! Unfortunately no dogs are allowed at this event but we are holding a Woof Walkies on 6th February, more information soon!
With Cancer Research UK Giving Pages more of the money raised goes towards beating cancer. Aside from the credit and debit card fees, every penny donated goes to Cancer Research UK.
