Let's turn Doncaster Pink for breast cancer this October

Our story

This October, we’re on a mission to turn Doncaster pink — and we’d love as many local people, businesses and community groups as possible to join in. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and together we can help raise awareness and funds for Cancer Research UK. So whether it’s pink shop windows, pink uniforms, pink cakes, pink hair, pink lights, or even just a splash of pink somewhere in your day — let’s have some fun while supporting an important cause. Every year, over 56,000 women and around 390 men in the UK are diagnosed with breast cancer. Raising awareness helps more people know the signs to look out for and encourages early detection, which can save lives. No effort is too small — every pink ribbon, fundraiser, selfie, bake sale, coffee morning, or social media post helps spread the message. Let’s make Doncaster brighter, pinker, and more powerful this October. Together, we really can make a difference 💗
