Our story

We are a group of local volunteers who started the fundraising group because our lives, or those of family and friends have been impacted by cancer. We aim to support all people within our area (and it’s a wide one) who want to raise money to support the research into stopping this awful disease with help, time and resources. Now we know that 1 on 2 of us will get cancer in our lifetime we felt it even more important to get funding for all 200 known cancers – even the obscure ones. Believe me, with your help we can do this!
