Our story
About this event: The Gibraltar Local Committee are once again hosting their annual Walk For Life event. Last year the event raised the amazing amount of £10,088.73. Around 800 people of all ages participated in the walk which set off at 11.00hrs by our Worship The Mayor after a warm up session by our lovely Janine Pereira from The Base Training Club. This event would not have been possible without the invaluable help from the Royal Gibraltar Police, RAF Air Cadets, Airport Fire & Rescue Service and St Johns Ambulance. Lastly but not least we are thankful to the Minsitry of Infrastructure & Planning for once again supporting this event with ‘Pedalling For A Cure’, making Redibikes available and encouraging cylists to also participate.

With Cancer Research UK Giving Pages more of the money raised goes towards beating cancer. Aside from the credit and debit card fees, every penny donated goes to Cancer Research UK.
