Our story
Cancer is at the heart of the Crazy Strength story. Our founder Craig Spicer is a 15 year survivor, having been diagnosed at the age of 26 with Hodgkins Lymphoma. His wife Dawn was also diagnosed with cancer three years prior and son Alfie arrived 12 weeks premature after being conceived through IVF during Craig’s treatment. It was a traumatic three years. Craig credits surviving cancer as one of his main drivers to build the Crazy Strength community, believing that both living with and being able to recover from illness are intrinsically linked to working out. Throughout its 3 years, Crazy Strength has tried to give back, supporting Cancer Research UK with various events. 2025/2026. Crazy Strength Gym are planning to host multiple events to raise vital life-saving money for Stand Up To Cancer.
