Cowbridge 10k and 6k 2019

The 8th annual Cowbridge 10k & 6k fun runs for all ages and running abilities. Great atmosphere, chip timing, unique medal and prizes!

Our story

About this event: The 8th annual Cowbridge on Sunday September 29th 2019, 10k & 6k fun run on behalf of Cancer Research, UK for all ages & running abilities. The 10K race itself is open to 14+ (the 10k can be run by 14 year olds with a consenting adult and by 16 year olds unaccompanied). The 6k can be run by anyone 11+ (11-16 year olds accompanied by an adult and 16 year olds upwards unaccompanied). The event will be centred as usual at Cowbridge Rugby Club, where there is plenty of parking and necessary facilities. Both routes are multi-terrain and cross some private land which is otherwise inaccessible! Each year’s runners thoroughly enjoy the courses, despite the occasional muddy farmyard conditions. We are able to offer chip-timing, a unique medal, prizes, gym passes to every competitor, water and bananas !
