Citi colleagues are fundraising for Cancer Research UK

Our story

Citi colleagues chose Cancer Research UK as our London Charity Partner for 2023 and 2024. We hope to raise at least £350,000 to support CRUK's work saving lives through research and bringing forward the day all cancers are cured. The partnership will initially support Sample Cam, a small device that can be swallowed to take pictures inside a person's bowel and take small samples of tissue, allowing doctors to detect the earliest signs of bowel cancer. The project has the potential to make a significant impact on the early diagnosis of bowel cancer, of which there are a staggering 42,300 new cases in the UK every year. From baking to dancing, biking, running and more, together our contributions will add up to significant support for CRUK. Thank you for getting involved!
