There aren’t many people whose lives haven’t been touched by cancer. 1 in 2 people born after 1960 will get cancer in their lifetime. Although cancer survival in the UK has doubled over the past 40 years and half of patients now survive their disease for at least 10 years, half of all patients still don’t survive. This is why Barclays’ Financial Assistance team is partnering with Cancer Research UK to raise vital funds to beat cancer.
