Story
Those that have known me a long time will already know, but those that haven’t would probably never have guessed. When I was 11 years old I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. This was followed by a very difficult two years of surgery, treatments and appointments. Throughout my teenage years this would be something I had to go through another two times. 14 years on and I am cancer free and healthy! I have been given another chance at life and would like to give something back because without the research and constant progress that’s been made in treating cancer I may not have been here today. So, me and Lydia have decided to do a pretty muddy run! 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
