Story
This year off Covid, it’s been tough hasn’t it. But imagine dealing with Cancer just as Boris announced the country going into the first national lockdown...... People did, they had to and so did their families. It’s had an impact this year, like we’ve never experienced before and for Wren it’s made itself something that she has learnt things about. She’s watched what it and it’s treatment has done to an amazingly brave someone she loves and cares for. Now on the other side of the treatment, surgery & of course the scary start if Covid, we adults can make a joke about the lack of hair or some other effect, but the thought of it possibly being so very different is still there. Cancer is never not scary. Cancer is happening right now, which is why we’re taking part in a Race for Life to raise money and save lives. Wren will be walking 5k (accompanied by us) in her own effort to try and make it less scary for the future. Please sponsor her and encourage her effort. Those are little legs. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work.
