Story
We are nurses and clinical support workers working within Trauma Orthopaedics in University Hospital Wishaw. We had been brought together during the beginning of covid. Each one of us has been touched by cancer both professionally and personally. We have come together during such a hard time and formed a fantastic and productive team. We believe that together we can beat anything. We want a world where people are cancer and pain free. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
