Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work On the Friday before Christmas our wonderful mother got diagnosed with lung cancer. Although she was told it would be something she would never have cured she remained optimistic. We had a lovely Christmas and she started her chemo the Friday after Christmas and it hit her hard, she fought every step she took but unfortunately she lost her battle on the 2nd of February. Every penny raised towards this horrific disease will hopefully bring an end to the suffering we have gone through as a family after losing the light of our life.
