Story
Here I am again, raising money for such a horrid disease. 2019 was our year πͺπΌ My sister went into remission and we had reason to celebrate! Then December 2019 our world came crashing down. Our beautiful daughter Nancy fell poorly and we noticed a problem with her left eye. Within 24hours we found out she was blind in this eye and was then diagnosed with a rare form of eye cancer called Retinoblastoma. Sheβs been the bravest girl Iβve ever met! β€οΈSheβs so far had one major operation to remove her left eye and the tumour. In the near future we will have a plan in place for chemo and also an appointment to have her prosthetic eye fitted. As parents this has broken us, no one will ever understand this pain. But sheβs going to beat it and without the help of cancer research the amazing NHS and specially our team at the Royal London Hospital wouldnβt be able to do as much as they have and can do to help others. So please, Iβm actually begging - doesnβt matter how big or small, every single penny counts! Help everyone out there whoβs battling this journey or may still have it to come! πππππππππππππππ
