Story
In 2009 my sisters and I had to say goodbye to our Dad after he lost his 5 year long battle with cancer. I have ran this race every year since he passed away in the hope to raise awareness and to help raise as much money as possible to help beat this horrible disease! In 2017 we also lost a very special person Jane Sullivan...she was a beloved mother, wife, sister auntie, daughter, and dear friend thank everyone! All of my friends and family know someone who has been affected by cancer in some way or another! It is in every family! That is why it is so important to come together to take part in such a great cause! Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work.
