We are the family and friends of a very special lady Valerie Noon who was taken by this cruel disease earlier this year . Val was such a warm , kind , positive , generous elegant lady , didn't drink , or smoke just lived her life being a wonderful person helping others where ever she could . Right to the end she was selfless , taking part in trials for cancer research and going through horrific bouts of new chemos to help research . She still had a smile on her face and a hug for you no matter what pain she was in . She was amazing and we miss her so much . This race is for her and to help this fight against this cruel sickness , that takes the best .
