We're raising as much as we can to beat cancer

Story

Thank you for visiting our Cancer Research UK Cycle 300 page. This September, before the end of the month, 6 members of the University of the Highlands and Islands Department of Nursing team (Elaine Dibden, Graham Geddes, Jo Smith, Jonathan Gray, Marie Cameron, and Steph Holden) will each complete 300 miles on our bikes for Cancer Research UK, a total of 1,800 miles, or Land's End to John o 'Groats and back again! As nurses, many of us have had experience of caring for people with cancer, and helping them and their families to deal with this frightening diagnosis. In addition, many of us have also had personal experience of cancer in members of our family and friends. Cancer research is expensive, but incredibly important, and we are dedicated to pedalling harder than ever because we want to raise money for life-saving research, so that families facing this diagnosis will be able to do so knowing that they are receiving the best possible treatment. Any small amount of money you can donate will be enormously appreciated. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with Cancer Research UK.
