Story
Cancer is happening right now, which is why we’re taking part in a Race for Life 10k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work. On December 6th 2022,Tristan lost his mum Sharon to lung cancer. She was just 48, a non smoker her whole life and otherwise fit and healthy. Sharon showed great courage and positivity during her fight, never complaining and continuing to be her kind and loving self for her family, especially her children. Only a few months later in March 2023, Tristan also lost his Granda Cullen to cancer. He was diagnosed only in January and sadly deteriorated quickly. We love and miss them both everyday. The affect this disease has had on both families is devastating. Things will never be the same again, but we remember them in everything we do. We are doing this for them. Having done absolutely no training thus far, it’s safe to say this won’t be easy. However, we remind ourselves of the suffering Sharon, Tony and many others endure from this horrible disease - so we will push through to the end for them. I know they will both be looking down cheering us on. Any donations no matter how big or small are much appreciated! Thank you 🤍 Tristan & Chloe
