Story
In 2007 Annie was diagnosed with breast cancer , she was pregnant at the time with her son Ben and it was baby Ben that alerted her to it ❤️ ... Baby Ben was born healthy in 2008 . The fight started whilst Annie was pregnant with her first of many chemotherapies - Annie’s prognosis right from the start was not good but Annie always said where there is a plan , there is hope and CRUK gave her that hope . Annie endured countless surgeries ,some pioneering, pathing the way for future complicated surgeries , chemotherapies, radiotherapies and trials and she did all of this with a smile , determination , family and friends supporting her and a glass of Prosecco in hand . Annie was CRUK’s ambassador , she won numerous awards namely the Flame of Hope award and raised so much money every year for CRUK , her 3 children have ran the Race for Life Every Year since Annie was diagnosed - infact Annie had ran the Race for Life the year she was diagnosed . x Annie appeared in numerous cancer research adverts , gave talks to hundreds of health care professionals and inspired so many others to get involved to raise awareness and to fight . Annie fought her last fight with cancer on the 1st November 2018 ....❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ “ You me , or nobody is going to hit as hard as life . But it ain’t about how hard you hit . It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward . How much you can take and keep moving forward . That’s how winning is done “ ( Rocky Balboa) This quote epitomised Annie’s determination and strength to beat cancer .
