On the 12th May 2021 I was diagnosed with oesophageal cacncer, which at 45yrs of age a mum of 3 and thought I was physically fit and healthy until the struggle to eat/swallow got real which meant the journey started with a trip to the drs in hope that it would be a food allergy or a reflux problem but no the dreaded C word was told to me.
I have already completed my first rounds of FLOT chemotherapy but my journey is nowhere near over or finished and I still have a massive fight in my hands to beat this, but I’m brave and I’m strong and I’m gonna put up the biggest fight as I change too much to lose.
