We are a group of teachers raising money for cancer research. We all know someone, a friend, family member, colleague or pupil, who is battling or has battled with cancer and we are walking in support or memory of them. Charlotte Cooper - walking for her grandfather who is currently battling with incurable lung cancer caused by working with asbestos for his job. Having been given 6 weeks to live he is still fighting it 8 months on but getting weaker. Pauline Cooper - walking in memory of her mum who passed away due to breast cancer. Laura Ralph - walking in memory of two wonderful grandparents who were taken too early from this horrible disease. Nanny Peg and Grandad this is for you. X Tina You - walking to honour the memories of her mom who passed away five years ago because of lung cancer.
