Story
I am running(walking and jogging) the race for life with Lucy and Izzy after they decided that they wanted to raise some money for Cancer Research. In December 2016, my wonderful sister-in-law, Sarah, died after a long and valiant battle with cancer. Less than a year later, in October 2017, Ben, one of Robs close friends, passed away from this cruel disease. The girls found it incredibly hard to understand and two of the many questions they asked were ‘why didn’t the medicine work’ and ‘did they try all the medicine in the whole world’. Taking part in the race for life was their idea so I’ll run alongside them in memory of Sarah and Ben. From Lucy & Isabelle:- "In the last 18 months, My auntie Sarah and dads friend Ben died of Cancer and We want to raise some money so that one day they can find a medicine that can cure all types of cancer. We are running in memory of Auntie Sarah and Ben." Cancer is happening right now, which is why we're fundraising right now for Cancer Research UK. There’s no time to lose! Donate today and help bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. Donating through these pages is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with Cancer Research UK.
