We are a team of 8 this year! Maryanne, Jon, Kev, Kate, Jenny, Becca, Kate, Dilly (Phil) Last year I, Maryanne, walked this marathon to help my dear friend Mark, who was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Unfortunately this year I walk it in memory of him. Mark sadly passed away on May 10th. But this year,friends and family are joining together to walk, and each one of us has our own reasons. We all know someone who has been affected by this vile disease. Phil: " For me it's for lost family and friends and the support networks involved, those currently undergoing treatment battling and living in hope and also those who have overcome this disease. X Jenny: " I am doing it in memory of close friends and family that I have lost ( including my mum) . To raise money to continue the support for patients and the research which will hopefully one day eradicate it.
