Story
I had lung cancer in 2005 when I was living in Brazil. My son was only 5 years old and the thought of leaving him was frightening. But I had the surgery, removing my left lung, and after radio and chemo I was healed. But we have lost many close friends through this terrible illness, and family too. The most recent was my friend's nephew who was suffering from leukemia. I had a lot of faith and battled for may years but he lost the final battle earlier this year. He was only 16. If I survived, then I must do something to help other people survive too, through raising money for prevention and alternative, safer, treatments. I stopped chemo after 2 sessions as it was killing me!! Please help us raise money so we can save more lives.
