On June 18th, we'll be running the 5k Race for Life in Falkirk (#TeamQuirkyBirds). We will be doing this in honour of my beloved uncle Fraz, who we lost to cancer late last year. Fraz was an utterly incredible individual, who absolutely loved running and cycling, and appreciating the great outdoors. During his battle with cancer, he was also a firm believer in supporting charities that raise money for cancer research, and took part in fundraising opportunities when he could. We saw first hand during his treatment, just how far the money raised from charities for cancer research can go; we want to help add to this in any way we can. Losing Fraz has left a painful gap in our lives, and we miss him every day, but we want to continue what he believed in and do what we can to support others going through a similar experience.
