Story
In late September 2018, Alan was diagnosed with stage four pancreatic and liver cancer. He died just three months later on 23rd December 2018. At the same time, Katherine's team mate, Stuart was going through a similar battle which took him in February 2019. We are doing this race in their memory. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
