We're raising as much as we can to beat cancer

Story

My friend Phoenix and I have decided to challenge ourselves this year and complete the half marathon Shine night walk around London. We have both been affected by Cancer where we have lost loved ones to this awful disease and want to help towards finding cures for different cancers by doing this challenge. Phoenix only lost her mum to cancer in October last year and so this is in memory of her. As well as in memory of my Grandad, Auntie Chris and Uncle Rick who also lost their own battles with cancer. We have chosen the team name, 'Owl's Tea Party', because we both love our tea, and the owl represents Phoe's mum because she loved owls and whenever we see an owl we think of her... she was also famous for loving her tea!
