A group of us have done the Shine Walk for the last few years and have been involved in other fundraising events to raise awareness and funds for cancer charities. Through your help, support and generosity we have been able to donate much needed funds and equipment for cancer research and treatment. People very dear to us have bravely battled different forms of cancer. Some have beaten their cancers. Some are in the midst of their treatment whilst some, including Sushil, sadly were not so lucky. Each year Cancer Research UK’s scientists get closer to beating cancer, and they’ve helped double survival rates in the last 40 years. But we can’t stop there. Only with our continued support can they turn this research into breakthroughs that save millions of lives.
