Story
Most people know someone affected by cancer, but since March this year we have been very personally affected by it. My wonderful mum discovered she had womb cancer and the few months since then have been an awful roller coaster that you want to get off but you can't. She is now going through the horrendous Chemotherapy journey that is devastating to go through, but also awful to witness. Cancer affects everyone, I see my mum going through hell, but I also see my dad struggling to keep it going. I see my sister and I struggling to come to terms with seeing someone so ill who has always been so strong. I see my husband trying to stay strong for me, but obviously being affected by it. I see my children not fully understanding the gravity of the situation and not really sure why their Grandma who was always doing fun things with them, now isn't. We've all been robbed of something.
