Every person who has previously fundraised for Cancer Research UK has allowed research to take place into routine screening, early diagnosis and life saving treatment. Routine screening allowed our Mum to receive an early diagnosis of Breast Cancer in October 2018 and then access to life saving treatment. The cancer was successfully treated in November 2018. All of these people who previously fundraised, allowed our Mum an early diagnosis which led to successful treatment. We want to raise money for Cancer Research UK so this is the case for every family in the future that receives the terrible news that we did. Therefore, we have created “The Green Team” and have decided to run the Race for Life. We are running this for Mum - but also for all the people who have battled cancer and those who have previously fundraised. We would appreciate any donation no matter how big or small - we have sponsor forms for people to sign or you can donate to any of the pages above. Please don’t feel that you have to donate to all three of us as all monies will be pooled and “The Green Team” total will be our final total. This one is for you Mum, we love you ❤️.
