Story
Team Dirty girls AKA Kate O’Leary, Debs O’Leary and Ange Jones from Estates, Facilities and PFI Division will be completing the 5k Pretty Muddy 2019 challenge on 15th September at Central Forest Park, Hanley. The Pretty Muddy course is a mixture of a 5k run (3 miles) with a series of obstacles along the way which are covered in mud. For those of you that know Kate, you will know that it’s not really an event without fancy dress, so Team Dirty Girls will be dressed as the Where’s Wally character. None of us are at the peak of fitness, but we are all very determined and driven to complete this challenge - just don’t expect course records to be broken anytime soon! All of Team Dirty Girls have had relatives and close friends affected by Cancer, and would like to raise as much money as possible to help beat this awful disease. Even a donation of £1 will help, and all donations are gratefully received. Thanks in advance for your support, and if you want to come along to cheer us on we are in the 11.00am start Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work.
