We will be walking / running 5K in Windsor on 9th October to raise as much money as we can ❤️❤️❤️ Thank you so very much in advance xxxxx Our team: Me, Bethany, Jessica, Kathryn, Caroline, Bella, Danelle, Emily and Lottie🏅🏅🏅🏅🏅🏅🏅🏅🏅 I am so super proud of our family team who have all come together to take part in Race for Life this year. It took one text message and an instant reply of YES! from all the family members, thank you SO MUCH!!! Myself and the girls have taken part in Race for Life for many years now but I never truly knew too much about cancer when we first began, we just knew it was an extremely worthy Charity to support and a terrible disease to have. Several years down the line and we now see how much cancer has affected so many of our loved ones and dear friends. My mum is bravely entering another chemotherapy treatment period in September after 3 different types of chemotherapy over 2 and a half years, including a stem cell transplant and a year and a half of immunotherapy so far. Mum has Myeloma and is an absolute inspiration to all. My very much loved step Dad Andy died from cancer last year, just the most terribly fast and awfully sad decline, utterly heartbreaking. He always had such a zest and love for life, his life was cut far too short. And also to our dear friend who has recently had a real set back with her cancer. She remains, as always, mentally strong, full of determination and is the most wonderful person ever. So many other people to mention as well and this is why we are doing our Race for Life this year and within an evening we had a family team of 7, and now 9 - just incredible!!! Thank you all so much for joining the team, let's do this!!! Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
