Cancer is happening right now, which is why we taking part in a Race for Life to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work. Both myself and Chrissie are turning the big 3 0 and we wanted to make a bucket list of what we wanted to achieve before our 20s end. One thing that was clear was that we wanted to do something that meant something to us but also would benefit others. We decided that taking part in the Muddy 5K to raise money for a charity close to our hearts would be worth ticking off our bucket list. My biggest fear is having to be told one day that I have breast cancer and my children would grow up without their mum, just like my mother had to grow up without hers and I never got to know my Nan. Yet my biggest fear is a sadly a reality to most daily and it breaks my heart. For Chrissie, it’s about supporting everyone affected. Cancer affects so many people in so many different ways! It’s not just the patients themselves it’s also their families. Doing this to help and show love and support for all of these families 💙 So please support us to support the bigger picture!
