Story
Having been through Cancer myself and lost my mum to it 5 years ago (almost to the day of this race) this is a charity very close to our hearts. It seems the older I get the more of my friends and families lives it touches both as survivors and as heartbreak. Which is why when Ella (6yr), Jess (8yr) and Theo(6yr) asked Kate and I if they could do the Race for Life we couldn’t say no. Harry (3yr) and Rufus (4yr) not wanting to be left out shall also be doing it but with their daddys Mark and Steve. As they were too young to sign up individually their sponsorship pages are under their dad's names. It is beautiful to see them so excited to do something like this. Even more so as the Woods recently got the devastating news that their aunts breast cancer has returned. We are super proud of these amazing kids doing something to try and change the future. Kate, Steve, Mark & I can’t wait to do it with them and we would be honoured and delighted if anyone chose to sponsor us.
