Cancer has touched our lives in more ways than we ever could have imagined. We’ve lost dearly loved members of my family to this devastating disease — people who meant the world to us and who are never far from our thoughts. But we’ve also seen the other side of the fight. We’ve stood beside family and friends who have battled cancer and won. Their courage, resilience, and hope have inspired us deeply. This year, we have decided to do something bold — something that pushes us outside of our comfort zone — to raise vital funds for Cancer Research UK. We will be taking part in a sponsored abseil, stepping off the edge (literally!) to help fund life-saving research and support those facing cancer today. Every donation, big or small, brings us closer to a world where cancer can be cured, prevented, or treated more effectively. Your support will help fund groundbreaking research, improve treatments, and give more people the chance to live longer, fuller lives. We are doing this in memory of those we have lost, in honour of those still fighting, and with hope for a future where cancer no longer takes the ones we love.
