Story
We all have our individual reasons for wanting to take part in the race for life. Jo lost her Nan to lung cancer and since then has always been passionate about cancer care and fundraising for different charities. She has previously taken part in race for life many times as well as the shine walk. Fi has had a family member who survived cancer and if it wasn’t for the research they may not be with her today. This is her first time to take part in the race for life. Rea is doing this in memory of her Aunt Grace who we sadly lost to Cancer. For Rea her Aunt was outrageously funny & bubbly. She supported her on her journey to becoming a nurse with words of encouragement she always knew she could do it even when she doubted herself. She is sorely missed. Tasha is running in loving memory of her Granny who sadly passed away in 2017. Natasha is taking part in loving memory of her Grandmother Grace who passed away from leukaemia and every other person who has been taken by cancer.
