Story
The Toyers! In 1991 Sidney Toyer, husband to Violet, father to Janet, Susan and Lesley and grandfather to Lee, Zowie, Emma (that's me), Abby, Michael and Bethan, sadly lost his fight with bowel cancer. I'm pleased to say research and treatment have come a long way since then but in 2016 cancer struck our family again. Susan was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and just over a year later Janet was diagnosed with bowel cancer. Both have responded well to treatment and provide much hope for others so we are fundraising to give something back for the help that's been given to our family and to ensure we continue to research, treat and eventually beat this disease.
