Story

Unfortunately cancer has played a big part in our lives for the last few years. We lost a really close family member very suddenly to the disease, someone our children classed as a granddad, someone who played a massive role in my (Katrina) childhood and early adult years, we have also lost our own grandparents to the disease! More recently it has played a massive part in our friendship group, we have had to watch a friend deal with the loss of a parent at an early age and watch the devastation to her and her family and even more recently that that, we have supported another friend through a horrible fight with cancer, which they fought with true strength, inspiration and determination. This fight however is not yet over, which is Pauls and my motivation to raise as much money as possible to help beat this horrid disease which we are watching close friends battle with!
