Cancer is happening right now, which is why we (Matt, Hannah and Jake) are taking part in a Race for Life to raise money and save lives. This year we have experienced this in our family first hand, as Matt has recently had two operations to remove his thyroid due to Cancer. We are going to walk ‘THE GREENSANDS RIDGE WALK’ on Saturday 24th April (a route covering 9.6 miles through Sandy and Everton). It’s not uncommon, we all know someone who has been affected by Cancer, 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. We will be walking both in memory of Peter Street and in support of all our dear family members who have suffered as a result of cancer over the years, we will be walking to help make a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, every pound donated makes a difference.
