Story
Not only was our mummy like a big sister and our best friend, but above all she was and will always be the most inspirational women we will ever know. She filled our life with so much joy and she was always there for all of us. She touched everyone in one way or another, through her smile, positive attitude and warm personality. She took the struggles in life in her stride and never let them get her down. Mummy put everyone first and remained true to this until the very end. When diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015, it was a very difficult time for our entire family. Mummy was such a positive, strong lady and she never acted down. She always encouraged us to be happy and kept reminding us of the positives in life, often keeping her troubles to herself in order to protect her family. As her cancer began to spread, nothing changed. She still remained strong and positive, but also encouraged us to appreciate life and be grateful for what we had. No matter how tough her challenges became, her smile always shone through. On Sunday 1st July, Team Rekha are taking part in Race for Life as this is something mummy wanted to do to help other women and families. Please help us raise money in memory of mummy who will be deeply missed and who touched us all in so many ways.
