Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life, to raise money and ultimately save lives. Your Fundraising gives people like me HOPE. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work. Funding research gives me hope. Hope in the shape of incredible scientists, researchers, doctors and nurses, who are working to achieve amazing things. Their work is what could give people like me a chance at outsmarting this disease. It gives me hope of a future that on paper I might not have. Having been a part of 2 clinical trials and had “stability” on them both for over a year I know that research gives people like me TIME, time with loved ones, time to make memories and time to live! Being part of Cancer Research UK’s fundraising means HOPE and TIME. Every penny raised from Race for Life will help make sure that there is more early diagnosis, more options, more treatment and more research to give people like me more time.
