Story
After such a successful year last year we are doing the 10k Shine Night Walk again this year to raise money for Brain Cancer Which sadly took our dad. Each year in the UK, more than 9,400 people are diagnosed with tumours that start in the brain or elsewhere in the central nervous system. With more than 100 different types of brain tumour, donations can help Cancer Research UK find out what causes them and develop better treatments to improve the outlook for patients. It all started in August 2018... We started to notice dad getting forgetful and repeating himself. Starting to think the worst... maybe early signs of Alzheimer's?? We decided to go away for the August Bank Holiday weekend. Dad soon became very unsteady and could hardly walk. Constantly falling and wobbly on his feet. Could this be a stroke?? We couldn't of been more wrong and nothing could of prepared us for the words the doctors said at the hospital that day ..... Brain Tumour Please help us raise as much money as possible to help beat Cancer! 💖
